Like many of the clothes we wear today we may have forgotten what they were really made for. Like sneakers, today a every day shoe for a every day man. When being invented, a sport shoe made for pro athletes. The bomber jackets legacy all started when fighting pilots stepped in to their airplanes during World War I. Thanks to, or because of, the lack of cockpit in the planes the army had to come up with a jacket durable and warm yet still comfortable and loose so the pilots never felt like they were being hold back by their jackets. So the bomber jacket was born. A century later every man who says he have somewhat of interest in fashion, clothes or just what he's wearing owns a bomber jacket. Or at least should own one. Along the journey from a pilots jacket to our everyday jacket the bomber jacket has come in so man different styles regarding color, fit and material. So to try to sum it all up, we've narrowed it down to our three favorite jackets and who you could, well should, wear them.
Don't try to hard. A bomber jacket brings enough attitude on it's own, even though its just a black one. The Swedish brand Brixtol, which jackets are made in the UK, gives you just what you want in a bomber jacket. A great fit, just warm enough for springs changing weather and the simple detail on the arm gives you a jacket that breaths attitude yet still are incredible versatile. We choosed to go with a clean pair of black jeans and a washed grey for a clean and simple look. As we said, don't try to hard and let the jacket do the talking and keep the rest simple. A watch on the wrist is always a good choice accessories wise and a black completes the outfit.
The bomber jacket as for a long time been synonyme with skin heads and their way of life. Thank god that the connection between skin heads and the bomber jackets aren't that distinct anymore which makes it appropriate for the rest of us the wear it. You can even, as we've done here, dress up the rest of your outfit to the jacket. A pair of dressed trousers with a discreet pattern and a classic white oxford shirt are excellent components to the bomber jackets more raw look. We are also giving you the green light to tuck in your shirt as it only are making the contrasts between the rough and the dressed up which just makes your whole outfit more interesting. Green can be a tricky color for a lot of men but it's easier to match then you think. A pair of dark trousers as we choosed to go with can easily be replaced by a pair of light colored trousers or even a pair of washed jeans. Avoid going all the Joker or the Hulk, if you are built like that, and go with something purple or any other bright color for that matter.

We recommend you to go in for the colored bomber jacket. As spring creeps in, it is wonderful to finally add some color to your wardrobe. Now, all it takes is that you have the balls to do it in such a big element of your outfit as the bomber jacket. If you are a person who already has a fairly well-stocked wardrobe, the bomber jacket is the perfect place to add some color in an otherwise neutral palette of colors. Bomber jackets often have a glossy surface, which makes the color to pop even more and this petrol-blue color is this spring’s most eye-catching. Now, more than ever, it is important to keep the rest of the outfit simple. Do not start experimenting with a colorful sweater or t-shirt underneath and leave your colorful sneakers in the shoe rack when you wear this colorful bomber jacket. A pair of light jeans and a gray t-shirt is just right for this bomber jacket and you rarely do anything wrong with a pair of white sneakers on your feet.
