Superhouse by Strom Architects

With the concept of a "Superhouse" the Swedish architect Magnus Ström offers his clients the opportunity, just like with Superyachts, to design their own dream house.

How come no superhouses exists on this planet? Well, some people would perhaps make a case that some houses around the globe would fall under the category ”Super” but the Swedish architect Magnus Ström isn’t one of them. When he saw the concept of a Superyacht for the first time he thought to himself ”Why couldn’t houses also reach the same heights of design quality and workmanship as these Superyachts?”

For most people, an instant thought like that is just that, an instant thought that runs through your brain for a millisecond and then leaves your head when a new one enters. But for Magnus Ström the thought stuck with him and he decided to realize his half-crazy and half-extraordinary idea.

Magnus, the founder of Strom Architects, and his team started working on the Superhouse-idea, which was to create the most beautiful, unique and design-led houses possible together with the future owners. The owner, presumably a quiet wealthy person, would be able to create and design their own dream house, just like people can customize a luxury yacht.

Much like a limited edition series of art or watches the Strom Architects will design 30 Superhouses, wherever the customers want to build their luxurious home, and each and every house will have a serial number discretely engraved somewhere in the façade. The first concept house is finished, it has the serial number S00/30, and it is absolutely breathtaking.
